forest green
rough sketch
The green color of this building really drew my attention. I had to position myself in a way that no one would be in the photo as there were construction workers down on the street. I like the contrast of the beige molding against the green brick. I also liked how there was no molding on the corner of the building that added to it's simplicity. The building looks as though it could be two separate ones due to the window styles.
red brick
branched over
the corner
This building caught my eye due to the molding and vibrant red brick. It was hard to get the lighting right because it was so cloudy outside, with photoshop I was able to edit them to look brighter. I enjoyed this building due to the detail in the small bricks contrasted with the stacks of larger bricks. It was difficult to get any pictures without there being trees. I was able to go across the street and zoom in in order to get no trees.

window castle
interlocking
I love how everything in this building looks as though it's interlocking. The building also has a lower and a higher structure that creates an interesting shape. I found it difficult to get creative angles on This building. I was able to finally get my photos that captured the intertwined nature of this building. It was also difficult to make the photo not look drab due to the tan color of the building but I was able to edit it to make it look vibrant.
sharp corner
perspective
the blue plan
This building was interesting because of it's brick work. The space I had to capture the building was limited because the sidewalk was so narrow. I used this to my advantage and got some close up photos that showed how old and detailed the building is. I also wanted to display the detail on the window panes. I did this by getting a sideways angle on the building.
modern
bold bar4s

This building caught my eye due to how modern it was compared to a lot of the buildings in downtown Ann Arbor. I like the contrast of the red brick against the sleek steel bars. The way the windows are placed creates a more modern feeling because there is a purposeful randomness. I also like how you turn the corner of the building and it is completely different from the rest. I had some trouble capturing the building due to how tall it was compared to how short I am.
